On your mark, Get set, GO!If your are an athletes on track event before or an enthusiast of track event, you will noticed that in every event, this On your mark, Get set, GO! was given before the race is on.

On your mark - get yourself ready on the starting line.

Get set – mentally and physically ready to compete the rcae

GO! – Run as fast as you can to finish First in the race

Sometime there will be false start and all of the athletes have to go back to the starting line again to be ready. When all go well, the race begins, some have a great start, some slower, and some gave up in the middle of the race especially in the long distance race.

The one who finish first being the champion get all the glory, but those who completed the finishing line get personal satisfaction and deserve a pat on their back for being in the race and complete it. In any race, there can only be one champion and the important of being in the race is to complete it.

Life is also the same as these races, and Life is a Participating game not a spectator game. Many most people prefer to sit in the bench of life game and watch other competing. They cheer and applause the athlete and deep in their heart, they wish that they are the one who get the glory. So what stages are people in the game of life?

On your mark – Too many are in the On your Mark mode always get ready to warm up but never ready to step up and being in the starting line.

Get set – Some are physically prepared but not mentally, some mentally but not physically. Few have both and are ready go.

GO! – Of the few who have the mental and physical ability to go, some have to many false starts and gave up themselves, some have great start but loose steam (as they put it) in the race and gave up. Some slow starters persist and finish the rac, they might not be the champion but in the Game of Life, the important thing is to finish what you started and then go on to the next race.

Which mode are you in Now in your game of Life?

READY TO GOAL?

Wealth is measure by how much you Give! August 18, 2006

“Wealth is measure by how much you give and not how much you have!”

Lesson 5 of 5 – Fifth Important Lesson – Giving When it Counts…

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to
know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare & serious
disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood
transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived
the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the
illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and
asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his
 sister.

I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and
saying, “Yes I’ll do it if it will save her.” As the transfusion
progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all
did, seeing the color returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale
 and his smile faded.

He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, “Will I
 start to die right away”.

Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought
he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to
 save her.

”Work like you don’t need the money, love like you’ve never been hurt,
and dance like you do when nobody’s watching.”
NOW more than ever – Peace…Pass It On!”"”

Here you are, all the 5 lessons on how to treat other poepl. Pass it on as the world needed more people who think of other more than themselves. Let’s make this world a better  world.

Opportunity Favour those who Act on It!

Lesson 4 of Five (5) lessons to make you think about the way we treat people.

4 – Fourth Important Lesson. – The obstacle in Our Path.

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he
hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock.
Some of the king’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and
simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping
the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of
 the way.

Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon
approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to
move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and
straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load
of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder
had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the king
indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder
from the roadway. The peasant learned what many of us never
 understand!

Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

Act on your opportunity!
