“Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.” Thomas Edison

“If you want to be massively Successful, You must take Massive Action!” Anthony Robbins

Have you ever envious of your friends’ or acquaintants overnight success? These people seemed to have all the luck that others lack. Is like they have a magic wand that turns obstacles to stepping stones. If you have attended Anthony Robbins Unleashed the Power Within seminar and study his life story, you will know that there is no magic wand in a person success. Anthony Robbins siad,”If you want to be massively successful, you must take massively actions!”

Many of you wanted to start some home business so that you cann get out of the rat race and gain back your freedom, but how many of you are willing to pay the price? The price not only in monetory term but the time that you use to build the business. At time when your friends were have their happy hours or enjoying their favorite movie or partying someway, you were siiting alone infront of your computer screen, looking at it but nothing came out from your mind. Certain time, when every one in your house were fast asleep, you were still doing your research, or your flow of thought started and you cannot stop writing for fear that the flow might stop; and you work into the wee hour without a good night sleep.

When you feel that you have done a great job but nothing seemed to move, no one seemed to visit your websites and your felt disappointed. At times, you felt like quitting and fall back to sleep and forget about all this Internet Marketing stuff. What the Gurus claims might not be true, you thought! But then you envious their “Overnight Success!”

Will you carry on your massive action when you don’t see your massive success? Well, I have my fair share of disappointment. Nine month ago, I did a test site to test whether the concept work. Within one and  a half months massive action till wee hours of almost every night, the site went into top 6% of Alexa Traffic Ranking. Contented, I left it for five months doing nothing and thought it will provide good returns, insteads in went into Cyberspace and noway to find.

Realisng my mistake, I started another massive action two and a half months ago to revise my site but with a different perspective, have a long term Entrepreneur Vision rather than a short term Oppotinist Mentality. Well, the price pays off. If you search MSN on “Online Business Success” you will see my site ranks #9 out of  5,140,622 sites. Nothing to shout about but some sense of satisfaction to prove that every one can do it. It may not be there for long, but once you master the skill, you will know how to gain back.

Take Massive Action today to build your Online Business!

If everything you do is going smoothly, you are going downward…. August 9, 2006

“If everything you do is going smoothly, you are going downward!” Anonymous.

How are you feeling lately? Are you feeling at the top of the world and that everything you do is going smoothly without any problem? Beware, as the saying goes, “If everything you do is going smoothly, you are going downward!” Most of you may not be aware of this, but in today competitive environment, when you don’t move forward, you are actually being push backward.

There was once an experiment done on how frog react to their environment changes. The researcher throw a frog into a hot water and the frog immediately jump out from the pot. They then put the same frog into a pot of water with the same temperature as the body temperature of the frog. The frog was swimming comfortably in the pot.  The researcher then slowly heat the water with very minute changes at a time. The frog eventually was boiled to death.

What happens to the frog is a lesson that we should take the hint. Many people started work or businesswith great aspiration and hard work. when everything move in the right track, they felt that it’s time for them to relax. They fall into the comfort zone syndrome and started to feel that the work is under the grip. Not knowing that they were slowly being boiled by the environment that they were in, little by little. While not to the extend of being boiled like the frog, they ambition, their enthusiasm and their fighting spirit is being worn out by the comfort zone they build up themselves.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “progress is the activity of today, and the assurance of tomorrow.”

Starting today, do something that make you better each and every day!

When I go to bed I leave my trouble in my clothes. August 8, 2006

“When I go to bed I leave my troubles in my Clothes” Dutch Proverb

Do  you bring your problem to sleep? The ancient Chinese proverb said, “Have thought in the day and will dream it at night.” Many people have insomnia and needed medicine to help them sleep. While they were sleeping, their minds were also not at rest. You see, our mind is divided into conscious and subconscious, the conscious mind direct what we do when we are awaken while the subconscious mind, the more powerful one will continue working while we are at rest.

If we were unable to complete the task in the day, while we might not be consciously thinking about our probelm that we faced in the day, our subsconcious mind is still working hard to solve the problem while we were sleeping. How then can we have a good rest to face the challenges the next day when our subconscious mind is working to solve the problem that we brought to sleep?

So regardless of of what business or profession you are in, there are countless of challenges that you will be facing everyday;  make it a habit of accomplishing you daily task every day. Do not leave them to the next day when you can complete your task same day. If you have complete your daily task, go and have a good night sleep and be prepared for the new challenges the next day. Learn to build a habit of complete your daily task and do not bring your problem to sleep. For those who can sleep soundly each and every night is being blessed.

“When you have accomplished your daily task, go to sleep in peace; God is awake.” Victor Hugo

Calmness before the Storm! August 7, 2006

“Economy is not meanness. True economy consists in always making the income exceed the outgo.” P T Barnum

In an economy section of our local newspaper today, the front page read Calmness before the storm, and the day before, another newspaper in their business section, predicted that the 10 years cycle of economic recession is approaching. While the economists prediction or reading seemed gloomy, we can never discounted the fact that there were many people who made their wealth during recession and there were many more people who lost everything they have in the economy boom.

The different between these two groups of people lies in their preparation and readiness for the opportunity that they faced. The question here is; are you prepared for the economy recession to seize the opportunity that many people may let them slip through beacuse of lack of resources. Or are you the one that let the opportunities passed by even during economic boom because you felt that there were to many competition. Henry Ford once said, “Either you think you can or you can’t, you are always right!.”

In sales training, we always heard this story, two shoes salesman were sent to a remote village. The first one saw that non of the villagers wore shoes and telex back that there wasn’t any market there as the villagers don’t wear shoes. The second salesman saw the opportunity and telex back the company to immediately sent few containers of shoes so tha he can teach the villagers to wear shoes and the benefits of wearing shoes.

So which salesman are you? Many had seen the opportunity in Online Business and/or Internet Marketing as the new wave of marketing. they are also many said the Internet is already clouded and too much competition.

Either way you are right!

Reading Maketh a Full Man….. August 6, 2006

“Reading Maketh a Full Man….” Francis Bacon

In article published by our local newspaper yesterady, it featured an American couple who follow two books and increased their newworth tremendously following the two boosk they read.

Ron Godwin (43) is a policeman but has created a high networth through properties investment and planned to retire in about nine years time. What are the two books the couple read that make them wealthier than their colleagues or peers. Well according to Ron in an interviewed with CNN, they follow the teaching of Leigh Robinson’s “Landlording” and Robert Griswold’s  ”Property Management for Dummies”

While there is a saying ” He who does not read is a s bad as one who cannot read.” But how often we read somebody work and than tell ourselves, is it true? This cannot apply in my situation or in the town I live in? Two years ago, my wife and I attend Robert Allen Millionaire Matrix Boot Camp” in Singapore and when Bob share how he build his wealth through nothing down, there were a lots of cynical and skepticism. “This cannot be apply here!”, “Our Local condition does not allow this” etc etc.

My wife is an ardent reader of Robert Allen’s books and had folloed his advice and has considerable success. There are about two houses bought with ”Nothing Down.”  Though it is rear but it can be done. Two month ago, we attended another seminar where Dr. Dolf de Roos spoke on Property Investment. Dr. Dolf de Roos never work for a single days or other people in his life. He started with property invetsment after graduated and move on to getting his PH.D in Mechanical Engineeri8ng while investing in propeties. What puzzle us was after the seminar, there are many participants who doubt that ordinary people can become rich through guided property invetstment eventhough in the seminar, there were many who gave their testimonies.

What these poeple need is not more reading or more seminar, no amount of reading and seminar can make them better off when their mind are closed.

There is a saying ” Our mind is like parachute, not much good unless is opened.”

Seize The Opportunity! August 5, 2006

“The Secret of Success in Life is for a man to be ready for his opportunity when it comes.” Benjamin Disraeli

Some one once told me Luck is preparation meet opportunity. How prepared are you when the opportunity arrives. Most of the time, many people  are not prepared and let the opportunity slips way between their fingers. Years  later, they wonder why other people are so lucky and success seemed  to be like others more.

What have you do today to welcome opportunity? Do you learn a new skill or thing each and everyday so that when a new opportunity come, you are able to use your new skill or knowledge to face the challenges that come with the new opportunity. One of my associates told me, Luck is Labor Under Correct Knowledge! So if you put the three sayings together, you will see a pattern;

Luck is Labor Under Correct Knowledge!

Luck is Preparation meet Opportunity!

The Secret Of Success in Life is for a man to be ready for his opportunity when its comes.

When you rearrange the three sayings together, it would look like this

Labor under Correct Knowledge=Preparation meet opportunity=Ready for his opportunity =Secret of Success!

So you see, Success requires Labor and Knowledge. There is no Free Kunch in this world, don’t just sit there and envy other people success. Start something (labor), learn new things and/skill (knowledge) and be prepare for your opportunity when it comes. That’s the secret of success!
